That strat is completely beatable. You forgot the dryads. UD players will just get AMS and you will be pwned.

VBadGirl are sure that 'gunners' die?Make mass hunts and see how 10 hunts die from 12 riflemen.

The dryads are so so but are perfect against chims or any of the last airs

Ne is so darn weak, but a early rush of archers and hunters +warden or dh can be a suprise, but it can easily be owned, and in the later game it's just a smooth sail to crush them :)

That is what I used in Night elf Campaign on Reign of Chaos.
Works like a charm :)

hmmm dont know about 6 tree's of life....
Me, i just make warden and 4-5 archers then start making hunts. then tech to tier 2 and add in either DH or KotG, and dott's or dryads. If they make lots of piercing units to counter my hunts, I'll add in a mg or 2. Casters, a couple faierie dragons. I dont see how they get owned, they basically can counter anything. Not like my poor poor orcs.

dude!!!!!!...hunts take 3 food and riffles take 3 food also...i said in the same ammount of food riffles die..explination...read my post.

Of course the whole thing can be counterable...i wouldnt like it any other way..but how many do get AMS...hehehe i saw it done by one 1 person in my all whole 500 or so games played.(he was above lvl 20 so it might explain)

and drys I seen so rarely now is not funny because they are very weak against hunts and anything that is piercing..and plus the archers i got on the ground would own ur casters...or drys..and plus...u forgot the fearies..try again :p. I lost one game coz of dryads because I end up with some1 from my clan as opposite team and he knew my thing ..hehehe :p.

Is sad indeed that a tier 1 kills a tier 2..but this is life.

this chims thing is perfect for ground and i mean nearly all ground, spiders, abom, taureen casters, archers, riffles...the only thing that i seen working a lot better are tanks with that air upgrade. I nearly went into trouble coz of that one game >< :D. becoz chims dont recognize the type of armour tanks have and magic against armored is pfffffff.. Thank god i had my kotg and my healing rain :).

Night Elves are not really the weakest race. Yeah, they suck at the beginning but when they build up they kick ass. Bears pretty much rule as a melee. You can get them out during the second level unlike knights, abominations and taurens. They can heal themselves and add damage. Support them with talons and dryads. Cyclone up their front line and take down the spell casters. Hippogripphs are the best anti-air and cost little. ANd the Chimms will slaughter the heroes and buildings.

Bears, or DotC's, can be built at tier 2 but you cant actually turn them into bears till after the master upgrade at tier 3. Personally I dont use them anymore, mainly because spellbreakers do real nasty things to bears, I find mg's more useful now that I actually know how to use them

Dotts are probably the most useful NE unit around. Faerie fire is extremely useful.

Arent Siege units supposed to be WEAK in defense?

I'm sorry, but Orc Towers are weak enough without some sorry SOB who has good defense AND siege attack....

But look at the cost. They also can only attack ground units, so stop whinin. ;)

Then get anti air. It is actually quite hard for Orc to counter heavy air right now. The best counter against Frost Wyrms/Chims is to just not let them get them. Frost wyrms and Chims can really mess up a base. It is best to try to take them out before they can even get to frost wyrms.

Trolls are weak

Wyverns cost too much and are third tier ::counts:: :: nods ::(yeah)

Towers get easily destroyed by Mountain Giants or Paladins, (wagons would be easier to deal with if it wasnt so damn easy for Undead to get the wagon a 12 man escort)

Ensnare requires me to actually click on it an dthe enemy, and this is a real halssle, especially when we're locked in combat. by the time I PUSH the button and click on a worm its too late!!!!!!

Ensnare needs autocast, if only for Air units.

EXCUSE ME! but u are wrong ...orcs do have anti air..its called bat raider and i have to say its more than decent. orcs dont have a decent air..but thats yet another story.

If so, then no, those are weak against air units too.
Orc units all around arejust weaker. It sucks. They need to balance this game.

they lose agenst mass necro ez and chim/hippo vbadgirl? puh-leez mass tanx or gargs easily take em out (gargs are tier 2 also) dots are easily creamed by a nice demolisher or mortar that should ALWAYS be in a human or orc team cuz they dont have a nice ranged unit that does crazy-go-nuts damage. the only redeeming factor bout the ne is the early harassment problem but all u need are a couple of towers rite?
