Well today i gamed with five other BattleForum's members in a 6-way free for all in the map Lost Temple 6 Players. Oh and we played using original Starcraft, because a few of us didn't have BW at the time.
The five members were -
The game overall was alot of fun. And it seems to become an occurance of us gaming in SC now. So don't say that we are boring members and never game, because we do, and are beginning to do it more often.
I'd like all the other BF members that played in the game to post in here to add their opinions and whatnot.
I feel i played ok, not fantastic, but ok. I had a good start, for some reason it felt like the game was going somewhat faster than BW normally does, so i had a nice jump in my build-order, but i didn't execute it well enough. I had like 300 minerals when i should've had 0, i kinda put off doing stuff for a bit, maybe because of nerves (I wanted to win
). I had a nice army, even without the help of DT's or Corsairs, those Arbiters did magic for me, without them i don't think i would've held off coRtALoS' constant barrage of Tank/Gol drops near my expansion.
In the game, red just seemed to be pissing everyone off with his constant flooding of messages (We don't hate you though man), so it just seemed logical to knock him out of the game.
My first big mistake was waiting too long to Recall using the Arbiters, i lost half my army due to coRtALoS' stupid nuke :angry
coRtALoS and i eventually allied because Tronga & Teddy allied. The game was alot of fun and since we are all friends i don't think most of us took it too seriously (Take yellow for example, he massed Marines).
So you see, not all the BF Staff are grumpy old men
