Economic Left/Right: -5.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.33
Yup, I'm pretty much a solid democrat. There's a few issues I differ on, but for the most part I'm a whore to that party. They've got my vote most of the time, but I will vote for a Republican or independant if I think they will represent me better.
Yes, I know it's pathetic that the U.S. relies on two parties to make our decisions, but I just pick the one that closest follows by values when it comes to voting. I would probably vote Green if I wasn't so sure I'd be throwing my vote away.
I've took these tests just out of curiosity over the past few years and noticed I've jumped towards the centre a bit more than I was before. This apparently is a normal occurance, I'm told, as you get older.
I personally find this test to be a bit more accurate...as to what I think I am atleast:

It seems to be slightly slanted liberal as well. It seems all the sample people that took it are labled a "socialist", "democrat", or "facist". There doesn't appear to be much of a centre with this test, but hey only one way to find out...
According to that test, I'm a:
Social Liberal
(68% permissive)
and an...
Economic Liberal
(26% permissive)
Moderator Note:
Considering this topic is quite a bit old and you seem to have put effort into your post, I'm going to make it into a new thread. For now, I'm going to make the title "Your Political Position", but if you wish it to change just PM me and I will change it for you.
As for those who post after this is made into a new thread, please do more than use the pure political compass and actually put content into your posts.
Thanks,
Tipsy
