What power supply are you using? If its the one that came with the case I would really get a new one, unless it happens to be Antec. Especially if its a Deer PS. A bad PS can kill your whole PC... I wouldn't gamble on one...

X700 is better than the X800 in a price/performance comparison. You don't want to cash out an extra $200 just for something that has only a %10 increase in performance.

Just trying to help you, and I get treated like this? I seriously hate how people on the god damn forums think.
