Depends on the level and the amount of ammo I have. I try to carry a shotgun and a weapon like a sniper rifle or pistol. And other times I carry a plasma pistol and a plasma rifle.

One word N-E-E-D-L-E-R. In single player it ROCKS, sux in multi, tho, cuz u can dodge the needls. That and pistol/heavy weaponry (i.e, snipe/launcher/shotgun, ect)

always a rifle, i prefere the plasma. and a sniper/assault/pistol.

needler in pc version owns man. and its soo much cooled lookin too.

i always carry a shotgun when i can, cause up close it owns. scondary would prolly be some kinda rapid fire weapon, assult or plasma assult.

I play XBox only, depends on the board, but I'll give ya a quick run down:

High Grounds: Shotgun and then rocket/pistol (rocket roxxors when you get the invis right buy the stairwell up to get the rocket then you pick people off .

Blood Gultch: Pistol/Sniper

Those are the 2 my friends and I play the most, on the other boards, I try to get a Pistol then a heavy weapon i.e.: rocket/shotgun/sniper.

Plasma pistol, I hit them with a full charge and then fire as quickly as possible to finish em off........ i dont need another weapon.

Well ya know, considering you can kill people in 3 shots from pretty far away with it....yeah, I'de think people would generall use it...

Assult rifle/plasma pistol Hands down best thats maily how i beat legendary on all the lvls

Sniper/pistol is really good for ranged fighting

Rocket/shotgun slow firing combo but hell in the hands of the right person

Plasma Pistol/Rifle work wonders in the single player campaign, the charge shot from the pistol drains all shields from any unit, fantastic for lengendary setting. Rifle works ok in multi, I've found it causes the one who is being hit to move/turn much slower great irritation weapon.

Pistol I always use, great medium-long range gun. I allways play the map tombstone, good medium range map. Shotgun works wonders with multi player.

Never been much of a rocket fan, good for laughs and anti tank guns, but that's it for me, too slow and easy to dodge. Sniper is ok...but easy to get into sniper fights and I've found sniper guns easier to dodge nowadays after playing for over a year.

usually depends. on single player, pea shooter/AR or pea shooter/pistol on multi i carry a pistol. anything else is just an addition cause im just that damn godly and if anyone wants to fine out, ask and ill meet you on the net and play you there. oh and i mean xbox only
