Can they be locked down?

A problem I found out not too long ago is these bastards don't attack Drones/SCVs/Probes.... out of all the ground-based units... why not those?!?!

You have no idea how much I'd love to just watch a player's entire SCV resource gathering force go "KABOOM MOTHER****ER!!!" in their face.

They can't be locked down, but defensive matrix works on spider mines.

I was just saying, even though it's pointless.

P.S.- If you aren't that stupid. You should already know that by reading my post, using defense matrix on spider mine is useless and will never happen. Do you think I'm actually stupid enough to tell people and recommend them to use DM on mines? No, I don't think so.

Spider Mines don't work on your Peons, Vultures, Archons and Dark Archons because they FLOAT, duh, of course mines wouldn't hit them

If you watched sc korean league...you'll know why.
Vultures are fast so therefore -> good for harrassing, killing peons
and spiders mines to choke early in the game.
Also, vultures are very effective in map: enter the dragon

Good mine strat: Lay mines in a high traffic zone, and ally your enemy (dont share vision). Once they are fully on top of your mines unally and it should take out more of their force and it prevents them from destroying your mines before they do their job.

That's good strat. but it's illegal in korean league...
Sometimes they get disqualified for doing it or they just re-game.
(And considered as cheap strat. on battle.net)
