tonight I played poker. around 7 guys, I was chip leader of table entire time. gets down to me and another guy ($5 buy-in) and he asks is I jsut wanna take $25 and he'll take $10 to make it fast and easy, obviously giving me the better deal. I said no, thinking I would win it all. It later gets down too us ahving around equal chips, so he suggests a split of money, $17 each. I once again decline, then end up losing. We have it so 2nd place breaks even.
