Like what our sexy staff member would say. "I'm cracking down" the double posting on the forums I moderated because it has become a rampant now to new members. Some threads has too much double posts and people doesn't seem to mind our reminders. So I propose that I move threads that has too much double posts in it to the Void like this one.

If they'll know that it's the double posts specially the triple posts caused a thread to be Voided then it's possible that they would put it in their heads not to double or triple posts.

I usually edit double posts and wait. If they do it again (they rarely do) I PM them.

As for Voiding the thread, I am not sure it is a fair idea. What will you do if the thread starter is not the one who double posts? There will be another rule for that case?

Before voiding it I will leave an explanation like the one I did on my example so that the thread starter could beat the crap out of the double and triple posters. But as usual it has a case to case bases.

As for voding threads with multiple double postings, depends on the thread.

If it's a void valid thread, void it.

If it isn't, don't void it.

Me point, it shouldn't count to make it void worthy or not.

After all, it's stupid to close a thread, a valid one, for that.
