On a whim I picked up both volumes of this, both Fire/Water and Air/Earth.

So basically what it is, is 4 cd's, each 6 songs long. They all somewhat "try" to follow whatever CD they're on. For example, the songs on the Fire CD are the harder / faster / rockier songs than the rest. The Water is more of a slower progressive CD. Air is somewhat of a Soft Rock CD, and the Earth CD has a much more acoustic feel to it, and is much more 'down to earth' music wise.

It's a concept CD and technically "experimental" music, because the songs do jump from one type to another and they're trying all sorts of new thins.

But then again, if you listen to Thrice you already know that they're music has been this way since Illusion of Safety.

Oh, and the main vocalist has an absolutely amazing voice, so if you're not that into rock hard rock the other 3 cd's are still good stuff.

iTunes store it. All of you should have iTunes anyway to go with your iPod.
