Cigs relieve stress and you start to rely on them you cant handle a 'stressful' situation without them or without geting realy cranky

you become addicted to them
your body stresses when you don't have one for long times
you smoke a cig stress gone
your body associates cigs=stress gone
hence in stressful sitations u crave cig
