Please Help With Lag Problem.

I'm using cable with a netgear router, and I have this problem where i can host games and they run fine but whenever i try to join a game with 2 or more people i cant d/l the map and if the game starts it lags like hell. Can anyone please help me fix this problem. Thanks
Before you starting flaming and telling me what to do please read the following:
1. I have port fowarded all the ports from the sticky (in this forum)
2. I dont think i need to port trigger so I did not do that

Man, I wish I kneew more about networking...

Do you have a firewall on the connection? Disable that and see if it helps. If not, just turn it back on. BTW: awesome avatar.

ty but i have disabled my firewall im pretty sure unless theres one i dont know about...
