Now Playing:

From Autumn To Ashes - Chloroform Perfume

The end result of so many meetings
Late night diners with no one eating
We sit in corners and sip burnt coffee
Count the tiles upon the ceiling
Skip this pretense and cut straight to dying
But don’t beg me to keep your eyes from crying

You said so much without ever parting your lips

Past 3am and I'm still far from sleep
This is a habit that I cant break
And my only company
Is skipping stones...

And the street lights flicker like this match in my hand
The street lights flicker like this match in my hand
And the street lights flicker like this match in my hand begging to strike
Beggin' to strike

And I keep repeating but this payphone tel stopped receiving
Flat out of change now, im sure you wont accept the charges
Its all the same cause by the morning ill be half way to Colorado or some place like that

You said so much without ever parting your lips

Past 3am and im still far from sleep
This is a habit that I cant break
And my only company
Is skipping stones down this sub-suburban street

She keeps on asking do you think it hurts much to die?
Well its hurting so much more to stay alive now
She's gonna' find out how much it hurts to die

She laced her perfume up with death
Filling in my lungs
So i'll pull in the deepest breath
And drop my head

---------------

Amazing song. It gives me chills.[/rain]

Dead Poetic - Glass in the Trees

I don't want to come back here, to this place.
It's a cold that only comes from blaming yourself for two decades wasted.
And I don't want to come back here, to this place.
When it all just repeats in my head again, and I cannot stop it.

And the glass in the trees, and all you left here,
Reflects everything that I missed. [x2]

And the pavement is still warm from the tires.
I can still feel the fright that the night brings.
Every song that you'd sing.
And I won't ever come back here to this place.
All I ever do is picture you smiling, and then picture you leaving.

And the glass in the trees, and all you left here,
Reflects everything that I missed. [x2]

Slow down. [x3]

I'll try and make it up to you. [x2]

They've cut down the trees to try to forget you.
But I took a vow to never forget you.
If you're still here, then we're waiting.

They've cut down the trees to try to forget you.
But I took a vow to never forget you.
If you're still here, then we'll wait for you to come back home.

We'll wait for you to come back home to the broken little foes.
Until the guilt grows and grows.
When the time that's wasted comes back to haunt me.
And I'll deserve every bit, 'cause I'm not spiritual yet.
I'm just reading the lines they gave me from the pulpit.

And it's not fading off, we remember the years.
As we sift through the laughter to find all the tears.
And I'm not worthy of grievance, I did nothing to prevent this.
And standing at your grave, I could have caused this.

Norma Jean - Memphis will be laid to waste

Walk around the room with a glaze in your stare.
In your tuxedo suit.
I will give it a name.
Lower your defenses.
Lower your casket.
Open the door and open your grave.
Murder.
Now you're doing the waltz with your murderer.
Mediocrity is the killer.
You find yourself helpless.
Christ is not a fashion, fleeting away.
He laid emeralds in her eyes,
Oh, but I'd already tried
a bracelt made of gold and a scarlet thread around her wrist. Everything was wrong
so we sang sentimental songs.
"Oh how seldom we belong but how elegant our kiss."
We painted crooked lines
but danced in perfect time to a love so much refined,
we know not what it is until like a dullen wine we pour
into a grief know before but never quite like this.
Never quite like this
All i know now is regret,
it follows like a silhouette
along the cobbelstone behind me,
but has nothing to say except to innocently ask,
its voice delicate as glass,
"Do you see me when we pass?"
but i continue on my way.

Newb huh? -_-

Fine, how's this song?

Ahslee Simp...haha, just kidding.

Rolling Stones - Paint it Black.

Gosh, ever since I heard this song on TMB, apart from hearing it my child hood because of my mom, I've loved it! It's sad though, half the good, old rock & roll my mom put me through is all blank in my head when I try to remember who made the songs.

We are allowed to post more than one song, right?

Angels Fall First by Nightwish

An angelface smiles to me
Under a headline of tragedy
That smile used to give me warmth
Farewell - no words to say
Beside the cross on your grave
And those forever burning candles

Needed elsewhere
To remind us of the shortness of your time
Tears laid for them
Tears of love tears of fear
Bury my dreams dig up my sorrows
Oh Lord why
The angels fall first?

Not relieved by thoughts of Shangri-La
Nor enlightened by the lessons of Christ
I'll never understand the meaning of the right
Ignorance lead me into the light

Needed elsewhere
To remind us of the shortness of your time
Tears laid for them
Tears of love tears of fear
Bury my dreams dig up my sorrows
Oh Lord why
The angels fall first?

Sing me a song
Of your beauty
Of your kingdom
Let the melodies of your harps
Caress those whom we still need

Yesterday we shook hands
My friend
Today a moonbeam lightens my path
My guardian

This is one of my favorite songs ever because, although it was done to a weeper's tune, the lyrics were quite beautiful coupled with the voice of Tarja Turunen, and the opening verse reminds me of a fallen comrade.

Sub Dub Micromachine - Last Resort

Some people call me a sinner / Some people say I should be ashamed I ask you why they don't give us no rest / It's enough- enough to drive me to despair You looked like a fairy/ Smelt like a flower Sweetest temptation I ever saw
The shine in your eyes and your laughing made my heart sing I fell in love / Suddenly I forgot the law This love was so strong / Seemed so hopeful Damned sweet memories torment my brain
Now I'm here / And the rain falls on a grave But I'm sure it can't rinse my pain away Wish you could be by my side / My dreams promise only lies Illusions - I can't hold them tight
And I cry
Should I reproach myself with weakness / Is it crime to succumb to sin To a sin, when it looks like an angelic girl I couldn't defend myself against your sweet fifteen Wish you could be by my side / Implore the lord but in vain I'll never can stop my cry
Now they had a reason for their gossip / For scorn and the hate from their stonecold hearts You was too young to resist all these hurts / You was fifteen so the death was your last resort So I'm here and deplore the disaster / Painful I feel nothing makes sense No sorrow, no tears and no rage will make undo your death And I see to life without you I have to learn

a guy falls inlove with a 15 year old, and somehow she dies... and the songs about how torn up he is

All Things Change- by Billy Corgan.

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

all things change
around
all is faith
unwound

I found a lead
a single furtive reason
my senses reeled
in seeking youthful madness
I trust belief belongs to me
someone will come
to spit the seed
a single weed gets respect
I'll change my quills to break the will
forever must hold

all things strain
be they changed
be they fair
be they hope
masked as care

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
hangin' on for

you might
be there
God knows
skies stare
taste dirt
you hurt
swallow
shallow
forgive
this day
summon
courage
no light
comes in
shadows
laughin'

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

I think the album for this comes out tomorrow, and DAMN am i going to get it. Billy keeps his unorthodox voice in these songs and still keeps pouring out his heart and soul in these songs, even without the help of D'Arcy, James, and Jimmy. I think Billy is on his way to have a lot of sucessful albums a a solo artist until he gets back with another band.

Middle of Nowhere - Hot Hot Heat

Don’t get mad
If I’m laughing
Blame the caffeine
For all the 5am phone calls

I haven’t slept a single night in over a month
Not even once did you start to make sense to me
Well maybe I’m a little bit slow
I’m just consistently inconsistent
She said unpredictiblity's my responsibility baby

But you’re waiting at the door
Where everybody’s hanging out just like they hung out before
You didn’t have to do it but you did it just to say
That you didn’t have to do it but you would anyway

To give you something to go on
When I go off
Back to the middle of no where

They chewed me up
And then they spit me out
And I’m not suppose to let it bother me

But maybe I’m a little bit weak
I let my frailty take the wheel
She said maybe there’s a bit of me
Waiting for a bit of you baby

But you’re waiting at the door
Where everybody’s hanging out just like they hung out before
You didn’t have to do it but you did it just to say
That you didn’t have to do it but you would anyway

To give you something to go on
When I go off
Back to the middle of no where

But you’re waiting at the door
Where everybody’s hanging out just like they hung out before
You didn’t have to do it but you did it just to say
That you didn’t have to do it but you would anyway

To give you something to go on
When I go off
Back to the middle of no where

Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy? - Fall Out Boy

Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this
part of town.

When I wake up, I'm willing to take my chances on the hope I forget
that you hate him more than you notice I wrote this for you.

You need him. I could be him...
I could be an accident but I'm still trying.
That's more than I can say for him.

Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this
part of town.

Someday I'll appreciate in value, get off my ass and call you...but for the
meantime I'll sport my
brand new fashion of waking up with pants on at 4:00 in the afternoon.

You need him. I could be him...
I could be an accident but I'm still trying.
That's more than I can say for him.

1-2-3-4!

Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this
part of town.

he won't find out
he won't find out

Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this
part of town.

Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman.
Maybe he won't find out what I know: you were the last good thing about this part of town

KMFDM - Juke Joint Jezebel

I CAN'T REJECT THIS EMPTY HOLE
I CANNOT COUNT THE BLOODY COST
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WRETCHED SOUL
COME PENETRATE ALL THIS LOSS
COME ON AND KILL THIS SENSE OF LIFE
AND BE THE ONE WHO IS DENIED
NOW SHOW ME ONE MORE UPTURNED KNIFE
AND FILL THE EMPTINESS INSIDE

IF I COULD LEAVE MY BURNING SKIN
THAT HAS BEEN USED UP IN YOUR SIN
IS THERE A TINY PART OF ME
UNTOUCHED-UNSOILED BY MISERY

I AM THE CITY THAT WILL LIE
YOU ARE THE ONE THAT BLAME PASSED BY
THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE I WILL WEEP
THE LONELINESS OF SWEET CONCEIPT

BE MINE SISTER SALVATION
JUKE JOINT JEZEBEL IS COMING FOR MY CREMATION
BE MINE SISTER SALVATION
CLOSER NOW- SEE THE REVELATION

A Letter To Dominique - Louis XIV

Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone
Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone
Now her dogs are alone and there’s no one to watch her TV

Dear Dominique I wrote to tell you you’re delightful
Still I know want a strangle or a mouth full
Of gasoline or to be tied up and stoned
I wrote to tell you that I hope you’re feeling better
Self addressed stamped envelope stuffed with your own death letter
Written in blood and in your own handwriting
There’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone

Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone
Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone
Now her dogs are alone and there’s no one to watch her TV

Well 13524 Park and East Boulevard
Your last stroll down the block was in the trunk of a car
I must admit that we never thought you’d go this far
Dear Dominique well I hope you’re feeling better
You look so cute writing out your own death letter
Well now there’s no one to watch your TV

Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone

Dear Dominique you have a bold imagination
The countless ways you thought to die no hesitation
Fantasize long enough, you know it just might come true

Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone

Well there’s a house on the block that’s empty now that Dominique’s gone

AFI - Morningstar

I saw a star beneath the stairs
Glowing through the melting walls
Who will be the first to begin their fall?
Or will we become one?

Am I the star beneath the stairs?
Am I the ghost upon the stage?
Am I your anything?

I saw a star beneath the stairs
Glowing bright before descent
And in the morning, there is nothing left
..but what's inside of me.

Am I the star beneath the stairs?
Am I the ghost upon the stage, am I your anything?
Am I the star beneath the stairs?
Am I the ghost upon the stage, am I your anything?

And I don't want to die tonight; will you believe in me?
And I don't want to fall into the light

Will you wish upon?
Will you walk upon me?
I don't wanna' die tonight

Will you believe in me tonight???
Am I the star beneath the stairs?
Am I the ghost upon the stage?
Am I your anything?

Am I the star beneath the stairs?
Am I the ghost upon the stage?
Am I your anything...?

AFI - ...But Home is Nowhere

Twenty-six years and seems like I've just begun
To understand my, my intimate is no one
When the director sold the show, who bought its last rites?
They cut the cast, the music, and the lights

This is my line, this is eternal
How did I ever end up here?
Discarnate, preternatural
My prayers to disappear
Absent of grace, marked as infernal
Ungranted in dead time left me disowned
To this nature, so unnatural
I remain alone

Twenty-six years end, still speaking in these tongues
Such revelations while understood by no one
When the new actor stole the show, who questioned his grace?
Please clear this house of ill-aquired taste

This is my line, this is eternal
How did I ever end up here?
Discarnate, preternatural
My prayers to disappear
Absent of grace, marked as infernal
Ungranted in dead time left me disowned
To this nature, so unnatural
I remain alone

Give me something, give me something
Give me something, give me something
Give me something, give me something real

I lay strewn across the floor, can't solve this puzzle
Everyday another small piece can't be found
I lay strewn across the floor, pieced up in sorrow
The pieces are lost, these pieces don't fit
Pieced together incomplete and empty

This is my line, this is eternal
How did I ever end up here?
Discarnate, preternatural
My prayers to disappear
Absent of grace, marked as infernal
Ungranted in dead time left me disowned
To this nature, so unnatural
I remain alone

This is my line, this is eternal
How did I end up here?
Discarnate, preternatural
My prayers to disappear
Absent of grace, marked as infernal
Ungranted in dead time left me disowned
To this nature, so unnatural
I remain alone

It's AFI...what can I say. In my opinion, they are by far one of the most talented 'maintream' bands (not to mention, they have a long history, and have put out several albums..all of which progessed and lead up to their newest and most well-known album 'Sing the Sorrow'. I'd go as far to call them lyrical geniuses. [/rain]

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven

There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying the stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for.
Ooh, ooh, and she's buying the stairway to heaven.

There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.
In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings,
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.
Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it makes me wonder.

There's a feeling I get when I look to the west,
And my spirit is crying for leaving.
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees,
And the voices of those who stand looking.
Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it really makes me wonder.

And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason.
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter.

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now,
It's just a spring clean for the May queen.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on.
And it makes me wonder.

Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know,
The piper's calling you to join him,
Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind.

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last.
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll.

And she's buying the stairway to heaven.

Mad sin - revenge

we're the things that were and shall be again!

this ain't no nightmare, this ain't no dream,
this is reality, the worst you've ever seen
this is the time boy, this is the place
this is the truth and it flushes in your mother****in' face

i'm six foot down in my grave so cold
buried alive near the underworld
i'm six foot down in my grave so cold
but i'm gonna scratch my way back out into your world

you tried so hard boy to get rid of me
but i'll be back and you gonna make my day
you are a liar, a dirty hack
you're time has come and there ain't no turning back

i'm six foot down in my grave so cold
buried alive near the underworld
i'm six foot down in my grave so cold
but i'm gonna scratch my way back out into your world

i am the conscience, i am the knife
i am the chainsaw that cuts away your live
this is reaction, this is insane
this is my revenge - feel the pain

Listening to some starwars tracks. No lyrics, But I'm sure anyone who knows Starwars, knows the theme. During the Obi wan vs. anakin. Not duel of fates, it was played after that. It is a great song

Marilyn Manson - Slutgarden

I'll pretend that I want you for what is on the inside
But when I get inside I'll just want to get out
I'm your first and last deposit through sickness and in hell
I never promised you a garden, you'll just water me down

I can't believe that you are for real
I don't care as long as you're mine

When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)
When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)

I'm unsafe
I'm unsafe
I won't repent
So I memorize the words to the porno movies
It's the only thing I want to believe
I memorize the words to the porno movies
This is a new religion to me

I'm a VCR funeral, a dead memory waste
And my smile's a chainlink fence, that I have put up
I love the enemy, my love is the enemy
They say they don't want fame
But they get famous when we ****

When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)
When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)

I'm unsafe
I'm unsafe
I won't repent
So I memorize the words to the porno movies
It's the only thing I want to believe
I memorize the words to the porno movies
This is a new religion to me

I never believed the devil was real
But God couldn't make someone filthy as you

When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)
When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)
When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)
When I said "we" you know I meant "me"
And when I said "sweet" I meant "dirty" (hey hey)

You are the church, I am the steeple
When we ****, we are all God's people
You are the church, I am the steeple
When we ****, we are all God's people

Best song evar \m/. Not really. Actually, when I first heard Manson's latest album "The Golden Age of Grotesque"...I really didn't like it. First Manson album ever that I was dissapointed in. However, it HAS grown on me quite a bit..and atleast still a few songs on this album that resembles the old Manson. Really though, Manson changes quite dramatically with every album. I just didn't expect Dancy goth-pop/club type stuff :p[/rain]
