Instrumental stuff. Ambient well-flowing songs. I downloaded some Hybrid recently (x42 got me into them) and i really liked it. But i want more!

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works '85-'92
Amorphous Androgynous - Liquid Insects
The Orb - Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld
[praw] - Clouds 1: They Cast Shadows
Tangerine Dream - Phaedra

Those albums might fit the bill. Though if you don't want to limit it to electronic ambient, I've got some decent guitar based ambient as well.

Portishead, Massive Attack, Tricky. Close enough. Portishead's new album is insane.

Let me know how those recommendations went.

You also might like:
Boards Of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children
T.H. White - The Private Spotlight

Also not specifically electronic/ambient but I'd say given them a try:
Divination - Akasha
Explosions In The Sky - All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone
Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music For Airports
Brian Eno - Ambient 4: On Land

I only found The Orb, Aphex Twin and Tangerine Dream. Listening to Aphex Twin right now, about two minutes into the first song, i like it! :D

@EEX: Ok so i've listened to all the stuff. It was good, not great. I liked Aphex Twin the best. I'll check out your other stuff in a few days, i'm very much ahead of my downloads (Here in Aus we are download capped).

Yeah, it's not exactly my area of expertise, I tend to stay away from the hardcore electronica stuff. I just found these albums by looking through anything I had tagged as Ambient or Electronic and listening to a few songs from each ;)

They're also both flamboyantly homosexual, though I do enjoy Queen occasionally.

It's a pity you couldn't find Liquid Insects... I think it was a Vinyl only release :(

Edit: Apparently you can find two of the tracks on their Tales of Ephidrina release. You might enjoy that. The band also goes by the name "Future Sound Of London", and does a lot of good electronic music in general (not all ambient).

Queen along with Metallica and Tool are the most overrated bands to ever exist. All three suck insanely.

I stand by Portishead. I finally saw them live @ Coachella after 20 lifetimes of waiting and it BLEW MY MIND.
