Here's a good tip. Make a copy of the background layer, put it over top the picture of w/e (anime dudes), and then set the layer mode to color.

And eventually you will figure out how to do that with brushing instead of 100% filters. Nice work though for your first time.

they look more like custom brushes for me...

anyways try to blend your characters.

i.e. low opacity eraser tools, feather, masking, etc

nicely done....but try to hue/saturate the pictures of spiderman etc to the background color or a nice solid color. stands out too much

nice bkg's they somone eleses renders? or your own or just brush work? the characters need to be blurred or better placed in the bkg not just on top..but ur doing good

Um, i've improved alot. And to answer savages question.

Yes it's my own brushwork, as in i used brushes, but i didin't make them,and no i didin't make the renders, im way too lazy.

that's something i can throw together in like 5 mins, just showing my improvement i guess?

and why brush all that if u can get the same exact effect with 5 or 6 filters? whats the difference other than you thinking its uber? . pshhhhhh
