Ok I'm going to be making a Fire Claw Druid.

There are a few possible skill setups I've came up with. Tell me which you think would be best.

Setup 1:

Max: Fire Claws
Max: Firestorm
Max: Molten Boulder
10: Fissure
10: Volcano
10: Lycanthropy
1: Wearbear
1: Pre-Reqs

Setup 2:

Max: Fire Claws
Max: Firestorm
Max: Molten Boulder
10: Fissure
10: Lycanthropy
10: Oak Sage
1: Wearbear
1: Pre-Reqs

Setup 3:

Max: Fire Claws
Max: Firestorm
Max: Molten Boulder
10: Fissure
10: Lycanthropy
10: Wearbear
1: Pre-Reqs

Setup 4:

Max: Fire Claws
Max: Firestorm
Max: Molten Boulder
10: Oak Sage
10: Lycanthropy
10: Wearbear
1: Pre-Reqs

Each setup is 93 skill points, -15 from quests..that's 78. Level 78 ownage.

Which do you all like BEST?

fire claw druids are like impossible, cuz u dont have enough skill points :\

i'd go for setup 1 or 2 since skills are limited

Each setup adds roughly 2.4k-3.5k fire damage..that's not too bad if you ask me..

Well are you planning on using this druid for PvP or PvM?

Build it how I built mine...strangely 3 days ago I made mine...Max Fire Claws, Max all synergies, that simple. Then use 6 shaeled phase blade and whatever else you feel fitting for this build.

Also, why -15 for skill qs, is there some other skill q per difficulty that I don't know about? Den(1) Rad(1) and Izzy(2) times 3 is 12.

1 pt into oak sage? lol..what's the point? even with +skills you'll get shitty life addage..if anything it'd be that setup and rest of pts into oak sage.

20 points in Fire Claws
40 points in whatever Synergies you want

That would be:

253,5 Base DMG LvL 20 Fire Claw
22% ED for each synergy point you assign (40 points)

253,5 + 253,5*0,22*40 = 2484 Fire Damage with Fire Claw (Without any +Skill items)

If you use a 110% IAS Phaseblade you will reach 4FPS when attacking, that would be 12420 fire damage with FC each second.

If you, somehow, boost your FC sLvL to, let's say, 26 instead of 20 that would be ~20k fire damage per second.

Quite alot of damage and you have only spend 60 points (+ pre req!) so you should have some left for defensive-skills, depending on how good your equipment is: either spend more points in synergies or Lycanthropy/Wearbear.

I know my D2-Fire Claw :p

That sounds farfetched, but also it doesn't.

Hmm..so would this be a good build if I had a robo?:

Max: Fire Claws
Max: Firestorm
Max: Molten Boulder
10: Wearbear
10: Lycanthropy
10: Oak Sage
Rest: pre-reqs/wearbear/lycan

I didn't make that up Viz, here: :p

110% IAS is the max-cap when using a Phase Blade, you will then have 4 FPS attack speed.

4 FPS attack speed = 6,25 attacks per second

2484 Fire Damage with Fire Claw (Damage of Base FC with 40 synergie points) * 6,25 = 15525 fire damage with FC each second (IF you hit all 6,25 attacks!)

(Sorry my mistake, I it's 15k not 12k damage per second)

Hehe next char I make will be FC Druid :p

Max: Fire Claws
Max: Firestorm
Max: Molten Boulder
10: Wearbear
10: Lycanthropy
10: Oak Sage
Rest: pre-reqs/wearbear/lycan

If you have crappy items that would probably be the best setup, but if your items have alot of Def/+Life/Dmg Reduce/Resis you could probably spend a few more points in synergies. :)

hmmmm... lets see:

at lvl 10 Oak Sage gives +75% to life

at lvl 10 Lycanthropy give +65% to life and +220 to duration

Oak Sages can be killed
Lycanthropy can't be killed

10% itsn't enough to make me go with oak sage

EDIT: Also... more than likely you will have +to shapeshifting skills... which eliminates Lycanthropy's 10% lack in life
