a good strategy.

the old lings hydra strat; build 36 lings and 60 hydras. send them all in together with a overloard. This works good against toss, especially if they have dark templar. the overloard sees them. the lings attack close up, and while they are bussy killing the lings, the hydras kill them.

this strat is kind of lame, if you do this you need to make sure to send in the zerglings AFTER the hydras. If you send the zerglings in first, 36 zerglings will get smoked by 8 marines in bunkers in a matter of seconds... so send the hydras in first and let the zerglings clean up. Also, like I said before ,my favoritre guy is the defiler. People used to think I gave this little guy too much praise, but he won me MANY games, and you only need about 3-5 of them (for 128x128 maps)

welcme to the forums btw iced... didn't mean to go hard on you in your first post It's not lame... just not original. Zerglings + Hydras is like Zealots + Dragoons, Marines + Firebats, ect.

i like defiler but not hydras. i like combining them with lurkers and ultras. and with that i like scourges on standby cause non of em hit air. scourges are one of my favorite unit. 5 take down carries before they can get interceptor out. oh i like your first strategy but its true. keep the lings at the back. i made that mistake meself.

I love my little Zerglings...so small yet so fierce...long razor sharp claws... tearing thru metal...tearing thru your flesh. Use them in combination with Mutalisk and Guardians to obliterate terran bunkers!

200 supplys= 400 scourges. Therefore at one time you can be in possession of 400 scourges, thats amazzzzzzzzzing, nothing can stand up against 400 scourges, except a nuke.
