Hacked wow account -.-

My wow acc got hacked a few days ago, and the hacker transfered four
of my characters to new accounts, paying for it with MY credit card, sínce sll the informations need is on blizz manage account site...
Anyone know how good the chances are, for me to get my money back?

No did not give my credit card info to anyone, at all... -.-
If you get another players acc name + pass you can simply move characters
from blizzards own site, if you autimatically set it up so they can transfer money every month if that's what u've chosen.

Why did you give out your account and password?

If you "get" it sure, chances are, if someone was going to hack someone for their account, it WOULDN'T be you.

So you PROBABLY gave it out somewhere along the way.

That's true Eric, but on the flipside; I've heard many stories where Blizzard doesn't help. The player just gets ****ed around and nothing happens.

Never gave my password away to anyone beside a really good friend,
but i whispered it to him in game, maybe someone got from a packet sniffer.
It's the only way i could imagine it, but it was like a month before i got hacked. Another issue i find a bit strange is: I woke up in the morning, logged in and checked my auctions, 6 hours later when i got home from work, my password where changed and characters moved, doesn't it usually take a couple of days?

Takes from 10mins-1hr really.

Transfer:

I would guess 1 day or so.

Password change = instant i know that, but were talking about the transfer... But anyway, i can live with the characters getting moved, but it really sux that i got to pay for it if they deside that.

I got hacked, GM's didn't do shit.

Hence why my stats are so shitty on my lock. Priest is starting to look up though <3

Packet sniffer no...keylogger yes. That's the most common way. However, maybe your friend did it?
