Just wanted to highlight a new map my bro introduced me to tonight called Galactic Empires. It starts out pretty slow, just building up enough of a fleet to take out your typical expansion areas, however it develops into much more once you start capturing the Ion cannon located in the middle of the map.

Pretty much $1000 will allow you to send an invulnerable targeting observer OF DEATH into any enemy fleet and destroy the first thing it comes near.

It's somewhat difficult to explain, but here's a copy of it for you guys to test out.

In a way, yes but much more advanced than your typical build-next-to-beacon type diplomacy.

I've never seen one that had an Ion Cannon in it.
