Blizzard North, the developer of Diablo and Diablo II, is looking for a 3D Character Artist skilled at creating models and texture maps for in-game art assets. 3D Character Artists assist in the design and creation of the objects and characters that populate the environment, using programs such as Maya and Photoshop. The ideal candidate has outstanding skill in both modeling and texturing organic objects along with a strong traditional art background. Truth is, no one knows what project a specific job opening is for, unless they have direct inside information from Blizzard. It's all guesswork and speculation.

And to anyone claiming to have inside information, I say "Prove it, or shut it."

And I also second on what Andrew said about WoW not being part of BN. I just didn't read enough to see that it said Blizzard North is looking for 3d char and such. Also,

What i meant was, the people making Diablo 3 wouldn't be asking for a 3D artist for nothing. They would ask for an artist for a reason.

Ill try to make myself clearer in future
