CD Key being used by...

I just got back into d2 and my brother wanted to play too so I just got another exp disc and cd key, but we can't play at the same time.

Is it because I used the same diablo 2 cd key?

I didn't think it'd matter because we are both LoD with 2 diff cd keys for LoD.

It wouldn't matter if you were both using two different cd keys. No.

Are you using a used cd key though, or is it new? When you get that error..someone is already logged in using the same cd key.

Mine is one I have been using on and off for 5 years. Got the battle chest that came with D2 classic and expansion cd keys.

The other I bought brand new just today. I only got an LoD cd key with this purchase.

Someone could have copied it from where you bought it from. Happened to one of my friends once. XD

No, when me and my brother try to play at the same time it says the cd key is being used by ONE OF US (whoever was on first).

Then you must both be using the same d2 Classic key. You both need your own keys..this includes both Classic and Lod.

He needs his own d2 classic cd key.

Can I find any online or are they all disabled by blizzard?
