Blizzard dumping Diablo III PVP in efforts to Release EARLIER

PVP arena to be dropped from Diablo III launch​

Blizzard has made it official that they will be dropping the player-versus-player arena mode from Diablo III's launch. Gladly for us nerds, this does not mean the extinction of the beloved PVP mode from the franchise... it will be patched in at a later date.

According to executive staff at Blizzard, they were not satisfied with the current developments of the PVP experience and believe that adequate development would require a significant time commitment, i.e. a delayed release. They are instead pushing PVP's debut to a post-release time.

This may anger fans that have anticipated the game for roughly a decade, however I feel that a further delay may topple them over the edge. Will this strategy hurt launch day sales? Will fans delay purchases until the PVP patch is available? I highly doubt it. We have been waiting for years, and while we may be pissed and awknowledge that Blizzard has turned into some grotesque cash cow, all we really want to say is...
