Best things to socket into weapons?

Besides runewords, what's the best thing to chuck into a weapon. Jason gave me a 4 socket "Rune Master" hell-version of the double axe and i don't want to jew what i put in there. I don't really know many runes off the top of my head, halp.

40/15s, Ohms, Shaels are all good choices. Could even go with PSkulls if you were really poor.

As far as that goes I wouldn't be too picky what you put in it...don't put a HR in it, it'd be a waste since a HR can get you something much nicer then that weapon. I'd have to say PSkulls or Shaels though. Focus on a stat you need...if it's leech, 4x p skulls will be perfect.

I ended up putting a pskull, shael and two amn's. Best of what i had. My lifesteal is enormous now, hahaha.
