Tom and Sally are standing 20m apart on a dance floor. If Tom weighs 60kg and Sally weighs 44.5 kg, what is the force of attraction between them?
Assume Tom and Sally can be replaced with spherical masses.
Oh, and the infamous armadillo problem....
A jumping armadillo reaches a maximum upward velocity of 3.7 m/s. Assuming that friction and air resistance are negligible, calculate the mass of the armadillo, then calculate the speed the armadillo would have to reach to break earth orbit, still assuming that friction and air resistance are negligible.
