This is for anyone who has seen the Fastest Possible Maps "Ultra Colors" or "Error".
I'm using SCMDraft 2 for map editing and came across a thread listing all the possible colors (hex values 0-255) that you can enter as a player color in the Map Description area of SCMDraft.
I messed around with the values and saw the start locations changing to all sorts of trippy multi-hued colors. Everything was fine until I began playing the map on Battlenet and saw that the colors were gone and just the regular single-hued colors you get every day.
I know there's some issue with colors not being specified the same way in Melee (the weird colors do show up in a UMS game I was experimenting with) but I don't know how to make them accessible.
Fastest Ultra Colors is an example of a map that does show up with the same weird colors. If anyone wants the map to check it out, PM me.
Just wondering if anyone could help - these colors interest me and I'd like to get 'em working in Melee/Top vs Bottom games.
Thanks
