It's been...about three weeks I guess, but I finally got this roll of film developed. These are just some pictures from my time in New York that I felt like posting:

There was an exhibit in the park called "Eyes Wide Open" which had a pair of boots for each soldier who had died in Iraq. It was really stunning, as were the speakers they had.

People put a ton of work into the signs they carry at protests. This thing's really an art piece.

Outside Madison Square Gardens the riot police were lining the sidewalks. Luckily this march was relatively peaceful.

The FOX news center sits directly adjacent to Madison Square Gardens. Coincidence?

Outside Madison Square Gardens, the RNC banner. There was also a gigantic marquee that said "Thank you New York" which was kind of ironic juxtaposed against the "Go home crooks" sign, but was losing the people that I was with in the crowd and had to dash.

My handicap parking sign. This was actually from the weekend before, but it was on the same roll of film so I scanned it. I also have a one of those yellow "Wet Floor" ones. Score!

I have another half roll of film in my camera that I'll get developed when I get a chance. Scanning's a pain; I need digital.

I think you should stop stealing the campaigning ads for the clinton administration and using it against bush.

Apparently it is more socially acceptable for our president to accept blowjobs from interns than it is to protect the country... I'm all for blowjobs... but I'd like to be alive to recieve them.

I think Bush should think about that while he is having more holiday time than any other president. While planes headed for targets in the U.S president Bush was posing for newspaper. It's sad that Clinton was sacked based completely on the affair.

That's retarted. So you think we should pay some guy 400k a year to **** around? How about this plan: Presidents get the same shitty vacation that the working class do. I have to plan my family vacations around the fact that my dad only gets about a week a year of vacation and he can only take it during his school's term breaks. Politicians need to get their heads out of their asses and realize that we can take their power just as we gave it to them.

On a side note, where'd you get the impression that I had negative opinions of Republicans? I was at the march to protest Bush. I have no problem with Republicans or Democrats.

Just the march on Sunday. If it were up to me I would have skipped the first week of school to stay for the rest of the convention.
