I get beaten up by a level 14

I was playing a 2v2, and wa somewhat annoyed to see that I (level 8) was paired with a level 10 vs. a level 8 and a level 14. I got my butt kicked!!! Its still a good replay, If you wanna see how a high-level night-elf player plays. View it HERE .

Your team mate sucked and the other NE player sucked.

Things you did wrong.

Got your hero killed twice. It could have been prevented.

Use rally more. You are wasting valuable seconds selecting wisp and tell them to go do gold or wood when you can just rally it. (I believe Tillerman but it best when he said "What seperates a good player and a great player is those little seconds he uses to get ahead")

Tech Up. You got Tier 1 units (hunts are Tier 1) and you never upgraded them past 1/1.

Creep with your partner. Stay with your partner and his units always. No matter what. (Be glad the DH didn't pick up the other protection ring he would have been godly)

TP out of a bad area. If you see you can't win the battle get out of it. More of your units that die the more expirence he gets. More expirence he gets the faster he will kill you.

Thanks for the input. My partner seemed to not want to stay with my units, which it what really got us killed.

I got partnered with a level 15 human the other day (me being a level 9) and we owned... it's not like he played spectacular or anything though, he kept getting footmen to fend off the huntresses hitting his base, but I saved his ass a number of times. I find whenever I get partnered with a higher level, we usually win, but it seems like they don't do as good as you'd expect. Maybe i'm just expecting too much from them? heh. Anyways, those tips that plac gave are good and i'll try and put them to work next game. Those seconds do add up........

I understand what you are talking about skuzzy. 75% of people over lvl 7 I have fought in 1vs1 and arranged team games suck, bad. Real bad.

Yah alot of times high-level players do suck. Just look at my partner in this replay, lol. Not that I exactly played my best either though...

I wouldn't say they suck... they are experienced, but they just don't live up to my expectations. For instance, earlier on I played a 4v4 game. Everyone in it was level 9 or higher. I think it was like..... 9/9/9/11 against 9/9/11/14 or something. I've attached the replay. WATCH HOW BAD MY TEAM GETS OWNED. And I had fricken 6 chimeras and like, 8 hippos... NO ONE from my team helped me. I know I didnt help the other guy, but that was his expansion, this was my main base. The funny thing is, huntresses are what killed my base... and archers killed my chimeras and no one seemed to give a ****. I told them if they didnt help they would lose and obviously they did. Check out the replay for a good laugh. BTW, watch how big of a newbie purple is... I actually beat him in points and he was the last guy to get killed!! and I was the first!!! what a newbie.

yea alot of high lvl players usally haf under a %50 win ratio its just that they've played like 500 games and only won about 200

it wotn payl its says its for a different version of warcraft and what race were you because i played a high level night elf player and i kicked his ass but maybe the guy you played was better you have to do the right strat when playen good night erlf player tho

Its true. I've seen some level 18 and have a 500 win 800 loss thing or whatever.
