Standard sacred armor can get to 670-ish range.

I'm assuming you want to runeword the armor. Non-magical sacred armor is the highest I know of.

Sacred armor is the armor which can have the max base defense (600, or 690 if "perfectly" superior). And it can have a max of 4 sockets. If you're searching for a very high defense armor, I advise you to consider the runeword "stone".

And another thing: a Sacred armor requires 232 str, so pay attention, it is a very high str req.

Yea and if you're looking for 3os armors i have a high def Wire Fleece for trade. . . only 111 STR req.

best bet for engima ( 3sock armor give that away ) or any other caster armor would be 3sock archon plate can get upto 550 def with olny 102 stq req.
