On May 12, 2008, a massive earthquake measured at 8.0 on the Richter scale hit the Sichuan province in China. 10 million lives were affected by this earthquake. Chinese officials say that over 62,000 people are already dead (as of May 25th), over 358,000 injured, 23,000+ still missing, and 5 million homeless.

Here is a video of just one of the lives lost in this earthquake:

(over 7,000 schools collapsed - with kids still inside)

We want to help. Over 150 volunteers have gathered together to create/support a website, whose purpose is to not only raise awareness, but to also raise money for the millions of victims.

Just wanted to update everyone.

Unfortunately for the first couple of days of the launch of the GracefulYouth.org website, the wrong tracking code was placed on the site that accepted donations. This was fixed right after the problem was found.

However, at this point in time, the confirmed amount of donations that we have raised is currently at $1,330.

But we're not finished yet! We partnered with Boston Pizza to host a local pizza party, with an estimated guest list of around 300 people - to fund raise also for this cause. This will happen on June 18th.

Looks like we're finally getting somewhere!

Thank you,
Donny

Special thanks to Cirtex and Cirtexhosting for the huge support and donation help.
