Do u gain losses when u lag out?

that pretty much says it all. do u get any losses on ur ranking page when u lag out, oh, and when u quit a match due to terrible lag? any response would be great.

Im not sure,

Im not sure if you do or not cause I havent played Warcraft of any type on bnet yet but... If it works the same way as starcraft then it depends.

If you lag out in a normal game then you get a draw/disconnect count.

If its a ladder game and it set to those who disconnect get a loss then you get a loss.

If you lag out it counts as a loss. If B.net drops you it is a loss. If you have an instant termination (fatal error) it doesn't count.

thanx for the replies guys. if what u say is tru placebo, then shouldn't (in theory, mind u) blizzard change that because ur not really losing a match, ur just getting kicked out by a gay computer. why should that be allowed to affect ur win/loss ratio?
ive gone thru 3 login files because even if i won a ton of matches, my ranking would never go up due to a huge amount a lag out losses!........................sorry, i was ranting for a while. anywho, if anyone else has any ideas, please write aswell.

If you are in a team game and you lag out, but your partner manages to win (which happens alot in team games where you lag out in the middle of a game-deciding battle), than you get a win. So it doesn't show ne thing on ur record until that game is over

IF you lag or error out in a team game and your team wins you get a loss.

well the new version of war 3 1.04 if u get disconnected out of the game and ur team wins u get a win but if ur team looses after u are disconnected u get a loss i THINK

One thing is that was weird was that i was on war3 with 2 friends in a group...one of my friends seems to always lag out of games ..well anyways he lags out...and when me and friend just leave cause its just useless..other friend logs back on and he says he didnt get a loss!! i don't now wut was different..just thought i'd tell u anyways

Weird. Dr Blizzard is right. If you lag out, and your team goes on to win the game, you will get a win...but if they lose you will get a lost just as if you played the whole game.
