Recently our old computer bit the big one so we purchased a new one. My son went to load diablo II and the expansion set. He has the key for the play disk but cannot find the key for the expansion set. I can still retrieve files off of the old computer. My question is how can I get the key off of the old computer and install it on the new computer?

Go to this thread http://battleforums.com/showthread.php?t=52126 in our Diablo 2 section and download "Onlyer Tools Package" then use the one program in the zip to show your son's cdkey.

No, you're wrong. If his computer doesn't work he can't use Onlyers.

The only way i can think of is to buy a new one or to borrow a friends. the only problem with the latter is that only one person can play at a time.

You need to hook your old hard drive up to your new computer as a slave/secondary drive, download Onlyer's ShowCdKey program, and run it on the old installation of diablo 2.
