Try to be more specific.(at least specify matchup like zvt/zvz/zvp)
I don't know what you mean by " new " zerg strat; this game is pretty old.

You could do a number of things, from 5-pool to 9-pool if you want to rush.

Ok, 9-pool is nice for zvp on 12v3/3v12 Lotem. It's do or die, though. Meaning if he holds it, you'll fall behind. As zerg, you might want play safe and work on eco since that race has the worst one early.

5-pool: make a drone, wait for 200 minerals then make a spawning pool.
9-pool: make drones up to 9 control, wait for 200 mins, then make a spawnin pool.

Eco is economy. I kinda assumed you knew. This game has alot of new vocabulary. :p

5 pool is when you build one drone (with the starting 4, you will then have 5), then wait for 200 minerals and build a spawning pool, then another drone, then one overlord, then when the spawning pool is ready you will have 150 minerals to build 6 zlings and rush the enemy really soon (don't forget to use the first overlord to scout, tought.

9 pool is the same, but you only build the spawing pool at the 9th probe ;)

Eco means economy. The ammount of minerals and gas you have at the moment and the probabilites that it won't get to zero when you most need it. You need to work well on eco, it's quite important. And you also need to work on destroying the enemy eco ;)

Lurker drops are a bitch to pull off. Tis better to just go with a massive hydra drop, say 120 at once, and have the other 60-80 (depending on how many drones you have) defend your base(s).

The best part, if you are facing terran and they have tanks in siege mode, when their tanks attack your dudes, move your dudes close to buildings, the splash from the tanks will help you! :D

If you still want to lurker drop, I'd use 5-6 overlords for distraction and place lurkers using individual overlords at these points

    1) minerals

    2) behind defenses (if against terran make sure you're out of detector range)

    3) vespene

or you can hydra drop which is much easier :D (sneak in a lurker or two maybe?)

    Step 1: join game...
Step 2: send drones to minerals + make 1 drone
Step 3: send ovie to scout
Step 4: send drone you made to min, make drone.
Step 5: send a drone to spawn vesp
step 6: make 2 more drones. send made drones to vespane. Make Ovie.
    Drones(so far): Min/vesp: 5/3
Step 7: Morph Spawn. make more drones+ovies
Step 8: send drones to mins.
Step 9: build 1 hatch near by, and 2 creep colonys nearby.(morph to sunks)
Step 10: Make a hydra thingy...and once its done start pumping Ovies and hydras.

Very basic. Learn to adapt, make your own stratedgy...get a comfortable and smooth system. Most importantly have fun.
