Hydralisks vs. Devourers
Against larger air (BCs, Carriers etc), which is better?
Help a n00bie.
Put a Dark swarm around those hydras and they'll pwnt those larger airs like they never existed.
Vs BC's devourers, because BC's are already slow, + acid spores ant it's sick.
What do Acid Spores do? It just covers it in purple crap.....
acid spores make BCs attack slower and rapes their armor. Get both devs and hydras. devs are more like a support unit.(the more acid spores they get the worst off BCs are)
Spores lower attack rate like all hell, and lower armor.
Vs. Carriers, hydralisk completely rape them, because they take out their interceptors so fast they have no defense.
Each spores add 1dmg to EVERY attacks the victim receives.
So when it has 9 acid spores and a non-upgraded hydra hits him it does 10+9=19 XD
Effective with mutas too cause the last ball of slug that the muta does can add up to 10 dmg (1+9)
devour + muta + scourage = gg
In short, the Devourer is like the other two air to air units: a support unit. It has a characteristic that makes it work well with other air units, just like the Valkyrie and Corsair.
I'd go for hydras + swarm.
Actually corsairs + scouts just rape that :'(
