yup it happened to me, i was tryign to start d2 again, got my sorc up to lvl 29 last night. Tonight i go on and i got that message "Your account has been closed (8)" I used the newest Stings 2.24 or something just to warn u guys. Im guessing blizzard wants people from d2 to quit and move to WoW so they can rake in some more cash.

oh i put IR Scan off cuz it was being a jew evey game i made.

Yea ok they just don't close account You must have used a map hack or some other hacks. So you are blaming blizzard because you tried to cheated and did not do a good job at it.

I don't see why in the hell they would close down accounts =/ I just bought it and now I'm having second thoughts, I've had a couple accounts closed but that's just because I've been inactive.

Unfortunately most of the D2 hackers and crackers have moved on to other games...not much is left in way of talent or hackability for that matter

Yeah, it kinda becomes more increasingly difficult to hack. Then again, diablo II is a pretty pointless game to hack and buy items from.

You will need to appeal your case to a Blizzard representative and find out why.

It could be many things: Maphack, duped items, etc.

That is what I hate about buying items. They can be acquired by ANY means.

There is no way to get your account unbanned. There never was and there never will.

And your account won't be closed for buying items online.

All you get when you buy items online is a bot comes into the game, and either drops it for you, or gives it to you. Usually, the item is recovered legit and is stored in a farm mule.

Regardless of method, they give the item.

Some sites do it the way I specified.
