These could be completely fake, but TeamXbox posted and then quickly pulled some semi-plausible specs for the new Xbox 360, as well as some details about Xbox Live. The part about it having a 20GB detachable hard drive seems a little sketch, since we’d heard something about it being a 40GB drive, but the rest of it seems to make sense. You have exactly 77 hours to argue over whether or not these are for real.

[Thanks, Joe]

current gen disapointed me, and the upcoming systems don't look like anything but the same system but with better hardware. whats the point in leaping from the same old to the some new same old every 5 years?

Nintendo on the other hand has me more excited about what the hell they are doing.

I'd buy one if I had money to just throw away.

Honestly, consoles are losing the "console" part. They are too much like computers. Why not work backwards. Make the computer plug into the tv and play games that way.

Consoles has the great thing of having no OS built in taking all of your cpu and ram. I wish bill would throw out a *Windows Gamers Edition* of which is windows xp, but has EVERYTHING stripped down so you can game like mad on a machine and not have half your resources used up by the os x|

i wanna get 1... i might have to wait a bit for the price to go down a bit; unless it comes out 4 christmas, then i can get 1 if me and my bro "share" the present...

and about comps that run off of the tv... there are ways to make your moniter the tv screen if thats what you mean, ive done it before...

ps. is the xbox 360 still coming out with halo 2.5? thats what ive heard... (halo 2.5=halo2 w/ [i beleive] high definition graphics)

that is true, no rom and ram are used on OS. so that is a BIG plus.
But does it really matter? For as much space as a computer has consoles will soon have just that much if not more.

I knew that, but still. I could also plug game controllers into my USB ports as well.

Just you wait, Consoles will have their own OS really soon. And will replace computers. Well, I should say replace. But they will merge into the same thing.

consoles are pc's with lower end (lol, not really anymore) technologies to make them cheaper. MS has lost money on every xbox they have sold, they make money on the games. Xbox 360 is comming out in november. Xbox 360 is rumoured to come with halo 2.5 (halo 2 with better graphics and the end of the game) on the hdd edition.

Original game machines, were really disguised as computers, and many old game machines were marketed as PCs.

There is no way in hell this thing is going to be worth the money it will be sold at, just like how Xbox wasn't near the value of the price it was sold at, or what the psp is sold at now etc. If you buy a system now, your an idiot.

Cota/Pan, please tell me which of those are real.

none...its these : http://www.battleforums.com/showthread.php?t=95661

Buying a system now isnt retarded. The opening price is probally going to be 500 cnd , for the basic version, the extra hdd will probally be like another 60 bucks or something, if it comes with halo 2.5 on it, probally gonna be like 120-150. So lets say, 600 bucks for a pc that has a tricore each running at 3.5ghz, 256(maybe512, dont remember, i know the dev kits have 512), and top of the line ATI graphics. I think thats plenty worth it.

you can go through that page of images and pick out which ones obviously arent the real deal for example:

http://www.xbox-360.us/images/dark_xbox2.jpg
same old xbox with different colors. doubt it.

http://www.xbox-360.us/images/xenon.jpg
bulky, too big and the X isnt even aligned right at all. very shitty job.

http://www.xbox-360.us/images/xbox2_dimen_picture.jpg
signed by the artist. :p

http://www.xbox-360.us/images/xbox2dvd.jpg
looks like a shitty dvd player

http://www.xbox-360.us/images/xbox2_specs_sheet.jpg
possible but the design layouts too odd. Its not practical.

again, practicality issue. That and its too much of a step back to sega saturn.
