Xbox 360 -> Laptop

Alright, Halo 3 is coming out in November. And of course I will want to play. Alright, I'll dish out X amount of money for the damn Xbox and game, but I do not want to buy a TV. =\
I've heard you can hook up the xbox to a laptop. Now I got a pretty nice cmp, but anyways is it possible to hook up an xbox to my laptop. What would I need to buy? And how much? any info would be great.

I doubt your labtop displays 720p...
I'd get a pretty good 23 inch moniter that displays up to 720p for like 250$ if you want to go down the road of not buying a tv.

Okay, I'm going to assume that because you said my monitor sucks that it is still possible to hook up an Xbox 360 to my laptop; since you really didn't answer my question....:-/

And there should be a device thing at your local electronics store.
It is like this little box, that can make your moniter a tv.

Besides, just because I would get an Xbox360 and Halo3 doesn't mean I'm going to play it on some gd HD TV! I'm not totally made of money!
