Sounds like a router/firewall problem. What error does the updater give you? Is the light green/yellow/red? Did you follow Blizzards instructions to create exceptions within your firewall to allow the Blizzard Downloader to function?

You know, with your 3 gaming problems all update-related, could it be that (drumroll) they're all related?

I suspect a router problem, but then again I jump to conclusions.*

In most situations it basically is the router giving problems, I've had it happen to me the same with different patches, but not one after another. I had my brother in law fix it though, so I really can't tell you what it was, just that the problem originated from the router.

If not that, then it's due to a firewall blocking, did you open the ports 3754 - 6112 or something like that on all nessicary programs, like windows firewall and any antivirus programs? I did that if I remember correctly and it let me download faster. It could be that problem, but if you don't get that message, I'm not sure what it could be.

Run Blizzard troubleshooting on the downloader. If it's not a router problem then it's an easily-fixed problem.
