What made you choose WoW over EQ2?

Have you tried both?

Which one do you like better?

Anything to tell other potential players before they spend their money?

everquest took ultima online players away, and EQII is going to take world of warcraft players away. damn EQ and damn their MMORPG's. the everquest style just does not fit me.

Well to be honest... WoW just appealed to me more then EQ II did. This was going to be my first MMO expirence and I didn't want to **** it up, and I've been impressed by Blizzards other games, so I chose WoW.

And, so far, it turned out to be a better choice:)

Can't compare an FPS with an MMO. Simply can't.

Anyways, WOW. WOW beats out EQ2 any way you look at it, unless you want plastic graphics with idiotic animations. Expecially if you have a comp that costed less the 2k USD.

Besides, WoW has more of the "fun" factor.

uL2: dual xeon, 6gb ram.
3000+ players on in the daytime, 1500-2k in the nights.
