Because deadpool isn't a well known character like Wolverine is, nor is he anywhere near as popular/overplayed.
And because a movie about a psychotic killer that can't be killed who wears a mask at all times would be pretty lame. That and they'd break 4th wall over and over and over and have him talk to the audience and it would come off as cheezy.

so he never reveals himself sounds like vin v in for vendetta. well v movie was not lame inspite of that. i wonder why can't he be killed./

V for Vendetta was more about Padme, the curator guy, and the main villian than it was about V.
He can't be killed because he has an incredbily high regenration factor. He's been turned into goo/slush and came back alive shortly after. He's been decapitated and came back to life shortly after. He's been full of bullet holes and he ran around laughing about it. A movie about him, if it was true to his origins and powers and what not, would be boring cause theres no tension. Theres no "oh man, he might get ****ed up" because he just comes back. It's like Wolverine in the X-Men movies. Once they showed him getting shot in the head then getting back up it was over. When it's established that a character can, essentially, cheat death then that charcter generally becomes boring/stale as most of the things they face are about as much thread as a cunt hair.

They could do it right though. Having him protect someone, for instance. Or doing some Merc ****.
Yeah, but of what I've learned from RESEARCHAN it wouldn't work out well like Mike said. It would get cheezey if he ket talking to the audience and if they took that out it sounds like he would just be a more light heart and comedic Punisher - with a different moral code.

Anyone seen the trailor for this movie coming out in 09 yet? Looks fucking sweet!! and besides fucking deadpool is in it o.o. Even though he looks gay its still fucking deadpool the best cter marvel ever produced!!!
But there a bunch in here instead of the fag x-men. Gambit-emma frost-blob-sabertooth (duh) and more.
