i'm trying to play SC on my laptop over a wireless internet access. but it's very laggy or it just won't connect. any suggestions?

when i tried to connect they told me that i needed o allow 6112 (i think that's the port) so i turned off my firewall allowing me to play, but then it would just lag like hell. suggestions?
