Windows Vista and Diablo 1.09

Hello, I was trying to install Diablo to play with some friends again, but when I try and install the patch I get error messages.

Has anyone experienced this problem before or know of a solution?

This has now happened on two different computers even with trying compatability mode

though regardless: more htan likely the only solution we will have for you is "Upgrade" to XP from vista.

Technically that's a downgrade, but Vista isn't as good or stable as XP in my opinion anyhow. I'm pretty sure it will work on XP if you switch over.

Yep I had to use laptop with XP as Vista doesn't seem to be compatible

like is aid, Vista shows TONS of problems when installing older software
