Probably for people that are embarrassed to go to the gym.. but really why be?

it is for people who go to work for 7-9 hours a day and can't afford an expensive gym, or the time to do rigorous workouts. It isn't marketed for teens who have no need for it, so if you are some 40 year old who wants to at least start moving arund instead of watching tV then it is fine.

who says you need gym member ship to get fit, they could always just go buy a bow-flex and be done with it, which is a way better alternitive than disgraceing your home with a dirty wii.

You also missed the fact the Bowflex is expensive.
