I agree with Trojan, I have decided to get the collectors ED for the main reason that It comes with a one months subscription and a cool little pet.

If it's an attack pet or just a companion?

Also, will it be class restricted if it is an attack pet?

No matter what it is, it better be something flamboyant that cannot be found anywhere else.

I believe it is just a companion, but I don't know for sure. Blizzard hasn't said so. It will probably not be restricted by class because it will be just a companion. It will follow you around and look cool. We have yet to know from Blizzard, expect to know more in the near future. I am actually getting the Collectors Edition now.
