Depends on what is overheating. We need a little more info about your system. What video card are you using? There are programs that can monitor you temps for you? if you dont have one you should get.

But for now here is a quick fix. pull you case out and pull the side panels off. This should help with overheating. If you have a small fan use it to keep everything cool. If you are still having the same problem after doing this. then its probably not overheating.

I have the same problem, mr. Firebat. Usually after Downloading new additions. According to the reports i recieved after sending Error reports to Microsoft, the problem is created by the graphics driver. Apparently it needs to be updated. I use a radeon64 card.

No, I think that should be enough. If I looked at the right card, it had 128M DDR and should be plenty (64m is min I think) Have you updated the drivers latley. If not goto www.ati.com and do so.

Are you having any trouble playing other games?

Hmm.. I'm also using a Radeon 9800 Pro but with Omega drivers..
I don't have any problems and got the same CPU spec and MB-ram spec as you.

I can run GW at maximum and 4 AA with no problems at all..

It could be your drivers..

I have an asus 9800xt, it seems to me like 9800 series may have had some funny problems...I have been having horrible problems, it seems somthing got heated and prossibly fried on the card. First I was getting VERY high temps, so I got a huge heatsink/fan, it dropped the temp about 20c...

Now with very low temps I am still having problems, seems to me somthing could have fried, i'm just going to get a newer card soon.
