I got g-force 4 PNY 256mb 5600 ultra.. works like a charm for me

I would guess the reason is that the Radeon 9700 has (I think) been out longer, thus more stable and more compatable.

In general Radeon seems to have better hardware, but shitty software (drivers), and GeForce doesn't have as good of hardware, but a lot more compatable.

I personally am a Radeon fan, and absolutely LOVE my Radeon 9700.

The newest one out is radeon XTacey 9 something or something like that its awsome it supports newest opengl out, directX 8.1 and 3D graphics my bro has one. 256mb
