What does Thawing potion do ?

Like the title what does the little yellow potion called Thawing potien do ?
when i drink it nothing happen!

It's heals you when you're frozen, so when you're frozen, drink it and you'll be unfrozen.

i think it also raises ur max cold resist...by 10% or somethin...
lasts for about half a minute.
