What does delirium the curse do?

on the delirium helm it gives 1% chance to cast delirium, but what does it do i can find nothing on it

heh, it turns you into one of those little fetish with the huge knives in act 3 they a muchos fastos and crazy awesome heheh, i used it on my merc once because i simply had one and he had no helm, i thought he was attking me when he first turned into one, kept trying to run from him and attk him but obviously that doesnt do anything lol, took me a couple games to finally realize it lol
