Why do people say toss rule air? BC's own carriers. Goliaths own carriers. the best air unit would have to be the BC because of it's huge amount of HP at its attack is stronger and faster then capital ships.

Not even close. Crusiers suck against cars. When will you get that through your thick skull?

BTW, there's a reason toss air is called the "Finger of God".

Oh and another thing. This is the only forum that thinks crusiers are the best unit in the game. Again, NOT EVEN CLOSE.

you really don't get it do you? BC's own carriers. carriers need interceptors to attack.BC's just needs a target.and the yamato gun can make short work of carriers.

longer range + faster movement = ownage. Carriers own the hell out of crusiers. This is well known throughout battle.net and blizzforums.


Oh and your precious YC is not gonna win it for you, either.

Crusiers can't catch up to cars. How is that an anti-carrier strat? Oh well, stupid is as stupid does.

look as much as i love my carriers i no that they would pretty much die. why becuase even if both units are full upgraded, the person using the bc could ingore those interceptors and just target the carriers. which means that after they are gone, the interceptors are gone and that is 8 les ships in the area. the yam gun might not kill it with 1 shot but have 3 or 4 firing at 1 carrier and it should be almost dead.
3 bc fire yam gun a 1 target that's 4 carriers that dies or badly damaged. then they would be out numbered the carriers by 4 bcs. have 2 bc kill 1 carrier for each and bc might stay alive. and if they had some SCV in the area.... carriers would be screwed even if they recharge their shields they would stop attacking to recharge which gives them some free pot shots and once the thing runs out of energy, goodbye.

The arbiter is best for non-money maps. I love just recalling 36 zealots into a base and killing all ground units. However on money maps (witch I play sometimes) I would say science vessel. Its funny when you irridate peoples workers.

lol yes things like that are fun, but by far the arbiter is probably the best. Stasis field a zerg army, or a gorup of bcs, then rush into the enmy base by recalling your own army.

battlecruisers and carriers are both usaeless unescorted. if i get carriers ill get like three and cliff then with a few scouts. carriers are absolutely useless alone. scouts on the other hand are fast upgraded and are great air to air fighters. who doesnt like taking 2 or 3 scouts and goin overlord hunting? or on an island map a good air force can keep drops from ever reaching your base.

BC's can handle themselves without escorts. and i'd rather build scouts and sairs than waste minerals on carriers and interceptors. what if the enemy is at your base and your carrier just came out of the stargate? it becomes helpless because you must build interceptors first. by the time you build one interceptor, the carrier is destroyed.

BC's cannot handle themselves on their own. I'll just grab a few Ghosts & Gols and own...let's say...12 + of them :D Good luck getting out of that one without support.

Every unit requires other units for support.

well not every unit, at some points in the game some units don't require other units. Its just strategy and being smart whcih is WHY we use other units.

arbiters are most likely THE best air unit, only if u have like 4 of them
Arbiters+reavers/dragoons/zlots/templars=complete mass destruction.
The arbiters recall the reavers or goons, or lots, or temps, then let everyone else bask in the complete destrucion.
Arbiters can freeze a whole army, then recall a whole army, right into an enemy base.
BC's? forget it. Scouts and arbiters OWN bc's(tried, tested and true). Carriers? completely defenceless w/o their intercepters. I think that they should get the nickname "noobie mass unit". But, if u are good, and have like 6 carriers(all ready, full intercepters), 3 scouts, 2 corsairs and 1 arbiter, you are going to get raped by the finger of god. BC's alone are not so good, and to get the yamoto gun, they have to wait a while (150 I believe). Guardians/devourers are ok, but devourers get owned when its even fighting(1v1, 2v2,3v3,4v4,5v5) Guards are ok, good range, but slow as funik. Mutas = weak mothers, and I ain't even gonna TALK about them. Wraiths, they are pretty good when you have a whole slew of them, and you cloak them all. Sci vessels, can actually be one of the funniest crafts in starcraft, you can do things beyond belief with that, irridate 1 hydra in a hydra army and POOF theres like 8 hydras down. Corsairs are AMAZING, get disruption web, disrupt some air defences(spore/turret/cannon) and send your arbiters in for the mega kill!

Every air unit needs some support off ground units for increased chances of wining.

i like mutas man. even if they are kinda weak they cause a little splash and can seriously fk someone up if they have a lot. i hate devourers they take too long to return fire i mean come on a corsair might be able to take out 2 devor before it can die. guards love they long range for grtound attacks. but by the time they get to the target i want. poof they are dead by like 20 gols missles.

i really say that gols is the best anti air unit for they have great range when uped

wraiths = just owned
valks = good
carrier = owned w/o intercepters and alone, not owned when with a group of like 15
scout = amazing
corsiar = the owner of air

hell yeah! sair own the entire air boy!!

but serious even thou air unit sare good what ground unit do u think is best for attacking air. isay gols for with upgraded range. it would do some damage
