I keep on hearing how BattleForums.com is hosting Diablo 2 and WC3 hacks/cheats, and how that's illegal. Is it?

its only illegal if you use it/get caught using it on bnet. they can't come onto battleforums, look for every blizzard account name and ban them because they are associated with a site that has hacking programs on them. you have to be caught hacking in order for that to happen.

Hosting hacks for those games is indeed illegal tho. We all know what happened to EoN/BH when they were hosting Server Emulation Files. You might say that's a different matter, but I have read somewhere that you are not allowed to distribute 3rd party modifications that could harm the gameplay on battle.net.
