Let Go - Frou Frou

Drink up baby doll
Are you in or are you out?
Leave your things behind
'Cause it's all going off without you
Excuse me too busy you're writing your tragedy
These mishaps
You bubble-wrap
When you've no idea what you're like

So, let go,let go
Jump in
Oh well, what you waiting for?
It's all right
'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown
So, let go, l-let go
Just get in
Oh, it's so amazing here
It's all right
'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown

It gains the more it gives
And then it rises with the fall
So hand me that remote
Can't you see that all that stuff's a sideshow?
Such boundless pleasure
We've no time for later
Now you can't await
your own arrival
you've twenty seconds to comply

Pretty.

Hey in Hollaback Girl, my school's band was the marching band in that video. Go FVHS!

No Doubt - tragic Kingdom

My aunt bought me the Tragic Kingdom CD awhile ago, and I like it, especially this song.

Going back to the whole Disney thing, besides, Vincent Price does this one (It was later replaced by some French chick, since they are in France and all), but Vincent Price is teh shit.

Under Pressure - David Bowie & Freddy Mercury

Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure - that burns a building
down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out
Pray tomorrow - gets me higher
Pressure on people - people on streets
She been around
Kicked my brains round the floor
These are the days it rains but it never pours
People on streets
People on streets
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out
Pray tomorrow - high higher
Turned away from it all like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love but it's so slashed
and torn
Why - Ooooh
Insanity laughs under pressure we're
cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance
Why can't we give love that one more
chance
Why can't we give love
Give love give love give love give love
Give love give love give love
Love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves

This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
Under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure
Damn! im listening to the My Chemical Romance and The Used version of that song now!

Club Doom (Ultimate Doom)

The only song I was ever able to play during Vigilante 8 to cause me to annihilate max opponents on max difficulty (using Napalm car). Otherwise I just can't get into the zone enough to survive the insanity. Plus, it's just has an awesome build-up, a scratchy "Extreme Terror" voice in the background, and then silence with drum beats building back up to an awesome finish (but I loop it of course).

Harem (Diablo II)

No matter how long I spent farming XP with my WW Pike Barb solo here in full rooms of 8, I never got sick of this track... plus egyptian/indian lady chanting has always intrigued me.

Neodaemmerung - Don Davis (Matrix Revolutions)

Maybe the best part of the movie, love the choir voices with kickass tracks like this.

One-Winged Angel "OWA" - Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)

Same as above, music far superior to the weak ass battle and repetitive Nova summons.

* One thing they all have in Common, they do not have understandable english lyrics... which helps the music be unspoiled.

Marilyn Manson - Mister Superstar

Hey. Mr. Superstar:
"I'll do anyhting for you"
"I'm your number one fan"
hey mr. porno star, I, I, I, I want you
hey mr. sickly star,
I want to get sick from you
hey mr. fallen star,
don't you know I worship you?
hey mr. big rock star,
"I wanna grow up just like you"
I know that I can turn you on
I wish I could just turn you off
I never wanted this
hey mr. superhate,
I just want to love you
hey, hey, hey mr. super****,
I wanna go down on you
hey mr. supergod,
will you answer my prayers?
hey, hey, hey mr. superman,
I want to be your little girl

(chorus)

hey mr. superstar,
I'll kill myself for you
hey mr. superstar,
I'll kill you if I can't have you
superstar, super**** baby...[/deepred]

Aqualung - Strange and Beautiful

This is one of those quietly depressing songs. And can be interpreted in ways that the artists doesn't intend.

One interesting interpretation borders on insane, kind of "date rape" scenario. Of course, the story is more of a strange romance between strangers to love...

Ray Charles - I can't stop loving you! :)

I watched Metropolis last night, hearing Ray Charles again after 10 years of not hearing him has got me in a really happy mood. It's nice and jazzlike, and its very soothing in my opinion. I'm even singing it! :)

Shape of Despair - Fragile Emptiness

5. Fragile Emptiness

Fragile emptiness,
cracking whilst i move
my hands (penetrating)
through this silence.
I beheld this loneliness and
a dream in illusion...
it awakens me
in somber,
in drifting
absurdness.

As a burden
this dream moves in me,
tiding me inside,
closing.

In it's shallowness
in it's entwined self,
life torn widely open.

Flowing within this dream,
slowly sleeping sleeping away,
drifting from used reality.

Fairly good 'doom metal'.[/deepred]

The Venture Brothers Intro Theme! Why, I can't be too sure but I know it's somewhat mesmerizing me because I haven't the will to turn it off even though I need to so I can get some damn sleep, heh! :)

Man in the Box by Alice in Chains

La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, Oohh
La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, Oohh

I'm the man in the box
Buried in my shit
Won't you come and save me, save me

Feed my eyes, can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ, deny your maker
He who tries, will be wasted
Feed my eyes now you've sewn them shut

La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, Oohh
La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, Oohh

I'm the dog who gets beat
Shove my nose in shit
Won't you come and save me, save me

Feed my eyes, can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ, deny your maker
He who tries, will be wasted
Feed my eyes now you've sewn them shut

( 36 second Guitar solo)

Feed my eyes, can you sew them shut?
Jesus Christ, deny your maker
He who tries, will be wasted
Feed my eyes now you've sewn them shut

La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, Oohh
La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, Oohh

Heard this song for the millionth time on my way from the orthodonist this mornin and it stuck in my head, and this after i finally bothered to find the name of that song. Along with my sudden fetish with the new NIN Cd, im starting to go abck and listen to more grunge type rock, meaning smashing pumpkins, alice in chains, nine inch nails, nirvana, and tool.

I love the way "feed my eyes'' and "jesus christ" are sung, and i love the bass line in this song. Keeps a nice beat to the song. One of my favorite songs from Alice. I know a lot of others by them, but this has always been my favorite. Rooster is 2nd place.

Caring Is Creepy - The Shins

I think i'll go home and mull this over
Before i cram it down my throat
At long last it's crashed, it's colossal mass
Has broken up into bits in my moat.

Lift the mattress off the floor
Walk the cramps off
Go meander in the cold
Hail to your dark skin
Hiding the fact you're dead again
Undeneath the power lines seeking shade
Far above our heads are the icy heights that contain all reason

It's a luscious mix of words and tricks
That let us bet when you know we should fold
On rocks i dreamt of where we'd stepped
And the whole mess of roads we're now on.

Hold your glass up, hold it in
Never betray the way you've always known it is.
One day i'll be wondering how
I got so old just wondering how
I never got cold wearing nothing in the snow.

This is way beyond my remote concern
Of being condescending

All these squawking birds won't quit.
Building nothing, laying bricks.

Queen Adreena - Pretty Polly

Polly pretty Polly come go away with me,
Polly pretty Polly come go away with me,
Before we get married some pleasures to see.
She jumped up beside him and away they did go,
She jumped up beside him and away they did go,
Over the mountains and the valleys below.
Billy oh Billy I'm afraid for my life,
Billy oh Billy I'm afraid for my life,
I'm afraid you mean to murder me and leave me behind,
Polly pretty Polly you're guessing about right,
Polly pretty Polly you're guessing about right,
I've been digging your grave for the best part of your,
life.
He stabbed her through the heart and her hot blood did,
flow,
He stabbed her through the heart and her hot blood did,
flow,
And into the grave pretty Polly did go.
He threw a little dirt over her and started for home,
He threw a little dirt over her and started for home,
Leaving nobody there but the wild birds to moan.
A debt to the devil Billy must pay,
A debt to the devil Billy must pay,
For killing pretty Polly and running away.

Twisted song...I :heart it.[/deepred]

Baby, I'm An Anarchist - Against Me!

Through the best of times,
Through the worst of times,
Through Nixon and through Bush,
Do you remember '36?
We went our seperate ways.
You fought for Stalin.
I fought for freedom.
You believe in authority.
I believe in myself.
I'm a molotov cocktail.
You're Dom Perignon.
Baby, what's that confused look in your eyes?
What I'm trying to say is that
I burn down buildings
While you sit on a shelf inside of them.
You call the cops
On the looters and piethrowers.
They call it class war,
I call it co-conspirators.

'Cause baby, I'm an anarchist,
You're a spineless liberal.
We marched together for the eight-hour day
And held hands in the streets of Seattle,
But when it came time to throw bricks
Through that Starbucks window,
You left me all alone.

You watched in awe at the red,
White, and blue on the fourth of july.
While those fireworks were exploding,
I was burning that ****er
And stringing my black flag high,
Eating the peanuts
That the parties have tossed you
In the back seat of your father's new Ford.
You believe in the ballot,
Believe in reform.
You have faith in the elephant and jackass,
And to you, solidarity's a four-letter word.
We're all hypocrites,
But you're a patriot.
You thought I was only joking
When I screamed "Kill Whitey!"
At the top of my lungs
At the cops in their cars
And the men in their suits.
No, I won't take your hand
And marry the State.

'Cause baby, I'm an anarchist,
You're a spineless liberal.
We marched together for the eight-hour day
And held hands in the streets of Seattle,
But when it came time to throw bricks
Through that Starbucks window,
You left me all alone.

Go burn.

Blessed By a Broken Heart- OMG

Honestly, what sense does it make
to defame a thing you won't acknowledge
When all is good and well,
you'll shower yourself with pride
When all is good and well, you'll still deny him

When tragedy strikes
you're so quick to point the finger
And you'll blame it all on my God
The blame game has gone on too long
does it make you feel like a winner
And you'll blame it all on my God

Honestly, what sense does it make
to defame a thing you won't acknowledge
Still you curse his name and use it in vain
Still you curse his name and use it in vain

When tragedy strikes
you're so quick to point the finger
And you'll blame it all on my God
The blame game has gone on too long
does it make you feel like a winner
And you'll blame it all on my God

Say your prayers
When the end comes will you put your faith in man?
The end is drawing near

As you watch with grinding teeth and witness the end of man
Know it,s not too late to fall to your knees and ask for mercy
As you cry out OH MY GOD

Band i found surfing www.PureVolume.com

Not bad, except they sound a bit too much like Coheed and Cambria, and they really dont sound energetic enough to me. Not a bad band though.

Well, in the process of typing this thread, i switched he song over to :

An Old Fashion Ghost Story by Deciding Tonight

Cyrus Jones 1810 to 1913
Made his great granchildren believe
You could live to a hundred and three
A hundred and three is forever when you're just a little kid
So Cyrus Jones lived forever

So that I can feel the rain

Now you should never have to watch
Your only children lowered in the ground

When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

Ring around the rosey
Pocket full of posey
Ashes to ashes
We all fall down

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
