im confused as to what you mean by red x's....you mean the paint brush spatters no?......i think they are pretty cool...i tried to stray from any of those crappy overdone things such as scan, grid lines, or any tech crap, i didn't know those were so bad

They meant from the fact that it is poorly hosted and you need to follow the link. They where probably to lazy to do so and inturn, only saw a x.

if i used photoshop i couldn't have achieved the colors i wanted, nor the angle, go right ahead and try to recreate what i made in photoshop, i found it much easier in C4D....considering i know much more about 3D than you do, you might think that making stuff like that might be hard, but slap on some alphas, and dark matter and wala!

heh i know how to use cd4... and you may know more than i do, but the fact is i can do a MUCH better job than you can using cinema 4d. Easier counts for shit. Its quality that counts.

Work on your brushing... and duplicate you beam layers and apply a blur maybe.
